About the lake
Western Manitoba's big water escape.
Pelican Lake sits in southwest Manitoba with Ninette on the north shore. The lake is part of the Pembina River drainage basin and has long been a recreation area for visitors, cottagers and local families.

Visitors were already coming by rail in the early 1900s, and cottages, camps and lake traditions followed.
